3:56 pm - I can make developer jokes too.
Dan Sidney 201: you'd rather use the RAM instead of Windows putting all unused pages in the pagefile.
Dan Sidney 201: Just to give you an example
Dan Sidney 201: you know when you leave all your stuff tossed around the room
Dan Sidney 201: because so it's faster for you to access it?
Dan Sidney 201: Windows is your mom. She gets in your room every now and then, and takes the things you haven't used for the longest
Dan Sidney 201: and puts them in the deepest of your closet.

Holy crap. One would think a man that earns about two grands per day, would be able to afford braces.

Sony must really be in the red.

4:23 pm - da Blob!
Haven't reviewed a game in a while!

So "da Blob". I don't think this game is very known, and it's a SHAME! It's a game that brings the simple concept of a katamari-esque fun based around a simple concept, and makes it so much fun. And with style. The gameplay simply revolves around painting the whole grayed town back to its original, brilliant, lively colors, simply by touching anything in the surroundings, after obtaining some color paint by smashing some mechs that walk around town. It's incredibly simple, but that's what makes it even more fun.
Ingame, color physics apply, and you'll find red, yellow and blue paints, mixing them will let you make green, purple, orange and brown. The game plays at your own tempo, even if there's a time limit, but you'll not feel it at all, since you'll be able to get more time. There are several hazards in town, like water that washes off your current color, and black ink that will pollute you and you need to wash off in water. During the stage, you'll be able to take upon several time-based challenges, so if you want some hectic fun, you can take them as well. The area expands larger and larger during a stage, like in a Katamari game, as you rack up color power (score points).
A game gesture that I really love: as a blob of color, you can stick to walls and slide down from them slowly, but you can also jump off and attach to another wall, multiplying your score higher and higher as you chain to different buildings without touching the ground again. You don't have to do that, but it's so much fun, you'll love doing it anytime you can.
Graphically, this game is gorgeous. Almost Mario Galaxy gorgeous. Everything is so round, polished, and LIVELY. Even the colorful Raydians you rescue during the game, they'll stick in town and do all sorts of things, adding up to the general colorfulness of the game. The game seems to not suffer from any slowdown issues, and there's a good view in any sort of circumstance, the camera follows you well, and you can center the camera back to you anytime, or move them into any direction with ease.
On the sound issue, the game features catchy jazz tunes, and as an added effect, as you color buildings, the music follows you along, and not only that, but also according to which color you're painting. Saxophone jazz for red, grooving upbeats with brown, playful flutes with yellow and more. According to each song you play, too.

I've not played much of this game yet, but apparently, there are tons of unlockables as you clear stuff, and each stage seems to have many tasks as well, for further replay value.

If you own a Wii, try this game, really. You won't regret it.

current mood: groovy
current music: Funky Blob

Well, looks like I own an X360 now.

The fact there's no built in wireless internet pisses me off to no avail. How much is the wifi antenna for it?

2:07 am - Guess the name of the racers.
Three men meet up and have a race.

One of them, the really fat one, would start long before the other two, and run as fast as he could forward. But he's so fat, he'd overheat and collapse with a cardiac arrest every five minutes.

The other two would start together.

One of them would run forward by tripping in his shoes, and as soon as he'd have walked the first checkpoint, he'd sit down and get drunk, claiming how he'll not fall in third place.

The last man would put run smoothly for a while, then surpassing the other two, would suddenly start running like a faggot, holding the witness in his hand and waggling it senslessly.

Who will win this race?

So, here's the beef. I want to buy an X360, right? But I want to be able to play NTSC games, since PAL ones are just too expensive. (starts 65 EURs each WTF)
A FreeLoader thingie for X360 does not exist either, so I'm forced to try and buy an NTSC model. But that's not easy at all. Amazon and others don't ship those outside USA.

So the thing is. Is XBL THAT worth it, that I can't just buy a PAL one and happily mod it, so to not risk getting banned?

current mood: tired

So! I bought an EEE PC yesterday, Asus 900 series.

It's like a cute puppy that likes to play fetch ball and wets your carpet with Xandros Linux. And no other functions.

Gonna train him the ways of Windows XP. Fuck you Ubuntu. FUCK YOU.

RockmanEXE2005: your up late
Nite the Dragon: I blame Under the Knife 2 >.<
RockmanEXE2005: bah, can't stand those games haha
Nite the Dragon: Really?
RockmanEXE2005: yeah, they get me worked up a little too much
Nite the Dragon: AAAAAAARGH
Nite the Dragon: I know
Nite the Dragon: and I got to the last stage
Nite the Dragon: and it's ARRRRRRRRGH
RockmanEXE2005: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0YKFvWiWYo
Nite the Dragon: Oh I've seen that one :0
Nite the Dragon: Yeah one eventually does that.
Nite the Dragon: Also why the last GUILT in all the games is always something in the heart?
RockmanEXE2005: didn't know that
Nite the Dragon: The other parasites also aim for that sometimes.
Nite the Dragon: but still, the last one is ALWAYS in the heart.
Nite the Dragon: Yeah the first game has a ... flaming... spider... thing
Nite the Dragon: that builds a giant web onto the heart.
Nite the Dragon: First you need to cut the web, several times, since it rebuilds it.
Nite the Dragon: Also your scalpel becomes unusable for a while after you cut a string.
RockmanEXE2005: wtf
Nite the Dragon: After that, you need to laser it off.
Nite the Dragon: In new blood, there's this... weird... uhm.... cockroach?.... thing... in an armor...
Nite the Dragon: and a crust all around the heart. First you need to remove the crust, but it's kinda easy to do.
Nite the Dragon: once it's done, it goes around on the surface of the heart causing damage and every now and then releasing some bomb tumours.
Nite the Dragon: After dropping 'em, it'll create a ripple to detonate 'em.
Nite the Dragon: So you gotta remove 'em before they're detonated.
Nite the Dragon: in THIS one instead...
Nite the Dragon: the heart becomes a whole...GUILT... thing... with a creepy eye in the middle that's the weakpoint.
Nite the Dragon: So this one instead summons all the game other guilts on the surface, and when you defeat a corpuscle, the eye opens up for a half second and you gotta inject something in there.
RockmanEXE2005: blah, sounds not fun for me
Nite the Dragon: And for the dramatic moment of the game.
Nite the Dragon: In the first, when "Savato" goes nuts as it's about to be defeated, you activate a healing touch automatically. It's too fast for you to inject the serum into, so you need to perform a SECOND HEALING TOUCH AND YOU STOP THE TIME.
Nite the Dragon: Seriously.
Nite the Dragon: Oh and if you mistakely activated the healing touch anytime before this, it's an automatic failed mission. You need it here.
Nite the Dragon: In the 2nd instead, always when the "Cardia" is about to die, creates a giant circle of tumour bombs and goes in the middle to set them ALL off at once.
Nite the Dragon: You need to activate a Healing Touch here by yourself, or well, it goe without saying that all those bombs will detonate and you're pretty much of a goner.
Nite the Dragon: Goes without saying, if you used the Healing Touch before, you're done fore.
Nite the Dragon: So I wonder what will this creepy eye do instead?
Nite the Dragon: Maybe shoot some EYEBEAMS?
Nite the Dragon: PEW PEW PEW
RockmanEXE2005: i have no idea, seems to besomething crazy everytime though
Nite the Dragon: It's getting to the point it's disheartening really.
Nite the Dragon: also
Nite the Dragon: the first game, GUILT was "manmade"
Nite the Dragon: New Blood, Stigma was a "natural evolution"
Nite the Dragon: the only logical explaination tells me that the next game will have aliens.
Nite the Dragon: With laser beams.
Nite the Dragon: PEW PEW PEW
